December 13th

The U18's lost 1-2 away to Parkfield in a poorly, but even handed, refereed game. Parkfield cursed and swore at the ref who was in the lucky position of not understanding English and so ignored the verbal onslaught. The Dragons dominated the game but were 0-1 down at the half. Again the Dragons dominated and pulled back to 1-1 but could not score. Finally with a couple of minutes to go Parkfield hit a free kick which was headed back to an unmarked Parkfield player who hit the shot of his life to win the game. Parkfield then proceeded to taunt the Dragons before proceeding to even worse behaviour. The Dragons lost but learned a lesson and will win the home leg.

Game Rained Off

November 22nd

The U18's beat FC Kensington 6-2 at St Marks in the 3rd round of the Middlesex Cup. The Dragons started slowly, having not played for three weeks, and spent much of the early part holding mini reunions with their teammates. In contrast FCK charged into the game meaning business, determined to make the most of the wind and slope to inevitably score first. This was a dangerous mistake on FCK's part as the Dragons woke up wondering what on earth the world had come to and responded in the only way possible by scoring twice to lead 2-1 at half time. FCK retreated to their changing room to stiffen sinews and concoct winning plans not comprehending that the Dragons were now in their stride and about to score another 4 goals to power their way into the quarter finals

Game called off

November 8th
The U18's were awarded 3 points after Princess Park pulled out at 11pm the night before. Particularly irritating as this was a game where the Dragons management had had to demonstrate considerable creativity to ensure the match could be played - all to no avail. Still another 3 points in the bank is always useful.
